Continental DataGraphics (CDG) has developed customized database applications and hosting solutions to support the aviation industry. CDG is responsible for the development, management, and Internet hosting of the International Airlines Technical Pool (IATP) parts pooling databases and the SPEC 2000 ATA Aviation Marketplace (the Air Transport Association's web site for parts sourcing).
The International Airlines Technical Pool (IATP) is a convention of airlines sharing technical resources to generate economic savings and to achieve on-time dispatch reliability and safe operation at line stations. Under the auspices of the IATP, members share aircraft parts, aircraft tooling, ground handling equipment, and manpower.
Supported by the Air Transport Association, the ATA Aviation Marketplace (SPEC 2000) provides a single "one-stop" commerce and information portal site for the aviation industry, bringing buyers and sellers of aviation parts and services together in a single interactive community.
