Business Career Foundation Program

The Boeing Business Career Foundation Program (BCFP) gives you the opportunity to join the world's leading aerospace company and take your business career to new heights. The aim of this program is to recruit and develop highly skilled leadership candidates. This employee development program takes you through a range of assignments that provide the scope, challenge and experience necessary for your business career to take flight.

Throughout this rotational program, participants are exposed to a variety of business positions within Boeing. During a two-year period, participants work in six separate assignments, in these core areas: Supplier Management, Procurement Cost Analysis, Accounting, Contracts, Estimating/Pricing, Financial Planning and Program Cost Management, with one elective rotation. Electives are based on your career interests and the availability of assignments, such as Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Internal Audit, International Business, Strategic Planning, Tax or Treasury.

Each Business Career Foundation Program participant will be paired with mentors and have access to training programs that will widen exposure to peers and experts. Individuals participating in the program will have exposure to senior Boeing executives, including the chief financial officers for the company's main business units.

Desired qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in, but not limited to, accounting, finance, or other analytical fields such as management information systems or economics. Candidates are required to demonstrate a minimum overall GPA of 3.25, although a 3.5 overall GPA is preferred. In addition, candidates must exhibit strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.

This program is limited to new college graduates. Interested candidates must apply during the fall semester of their senior year.

Information Systems Career Foundation Program

The aim of the Information Systems Career Foundation Program is to recruit and develop highly skilled leadership candidates. This employee development program takes participants through a range of assignments that provide the scope, challenge, and experience necessary for your information technology career to take flight.

Through this rotation program, participants experience multiple exciting information technology assignments over the course of two years. Targeted training will focus on increasing business acumen, career and personal development, goal setting, and goal achievement. Some of the core areas such as: applications analyst, project management, software configuration management, architecture, and systems integration and validation, Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and programming.

Information Systems Career Foundation Program participants will have the opportunity to work with mentors and access to training programs that will widen their exposure to peers and experts.

Desired qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Management Information System (MIS), Computer Science (CS), or another related Information Technology degree. Candidates are required to demonstrate a minimum overall GPA of 3.25. In addition, candidates must exhibit strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

This program is limited to a select number of new college graduates. Interested candidates must apply during the fall semester of their senior year.
