Command, Control, and Communications (C3) Networks
Overview
Command, Control, and Communications (C3) Networks provides end-to-end solutions that enhance, net-enable, and integrate existing and future Command and Control systems for transformational communication networks.
-
Networks and Communication Systems
- Joint Tactical Radio System, Ground Mobile Radios (JTRS GMR) -- A joint services initiative to provide a family of software-programmable radios that will provide reliable multi-channel voice, data, imagery, and video communications for mobile military users that are interoperable between waveforms and service branches.
- Family of Advanced Beyond line-of-sight Terminal (FAB-T) -- Prime contractor and Lead System Integrator (LSI) for development of a system that talks to different satellites, enabling information exchange between ground, air, and space platforms.
- Combat Survivor Evader Locator (CSEL) -- This lightweight radio is a critical component of a global communications system to assist in combat search-and-rescue missions. The system enables search-and-rescue forces to locate, authenticate, and communicate with a downed or isolated soldier, airman, or sailor anywhere in the world via communication satellites.
- Command and Control Enterprise Solutions -- Allows joint forces to gain and sustain an advantage across air, land, sea, and space with real-time information that improves Command and Control capabilities by allowing Effects-Based Operations at home or abroad.
- Strategic Missile Systems -- Since 1958, have designed, developed, and produced the guidance and control system for the Minuteman ICBM. The ICBM team is currently leading a team of contractors to replace the aging guidance system electronics in the Minuteman III ICBM's. The new system will extend the life of the Minuteman III beyond the year 2020.
- Integrated Shipboard Systems -- Maintains its role since late 1950's as the leading supplier of navigators for the U.S. Navy's ballistic missile submarine fleet as well as British Royal Navy Trident submarines. Provides systems solutions for the Navy and is currently working to replace electro-statically supported gyroscopes (ESGN's) as the inertial reference in submarines' navigation systems.
- Boeing Defence Australia - Network and Space Systems -- currently delivering several key programs to the Australian Defense Force (ADF) that will provide the foundation for its national network centric warfare capability, including the Vigilare Ground-based Air Defense System and the Modernised High Frequency Communications System.
