Stephanie F. Pope is the director of Ethics and Business Conduct for Boeing Integrated Defense Systems. She is responsible for leading the IDS global ethics program, ensuring the appropriate deployment of ethics programs and initiatives throughout the business, and helping to maintain a robust compliance management process.
Pope works across the organization to help provide leadership in engaging employees in communicating openly and working cooperatively in identifying and resolving issues and integrating the Boeing values in all aspects of our work environment. She serves on the IDS Leadership Team, co-chairs the IDS Compliance Assessment Team and serves as a member of the IDS Compliance Review Board.
Prior to this assignment, Pope was the Finance Director for the Training Systems & Services (TSS) Division of Boeing's Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) Business Unit in St. Louis. Her responsibilities include providing financial and business expertise to support execution and growth for the TSS business.
In earlier positions, Pope served as the Senior Finance Manager of Naval Systems and as the F/A-18 program's manager responsible for the financial planning and reporting. As the F/A-18 lead, her responsibilities included seven international customers, the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps. The Naval Systems role had cognizance of all key aircraft, weapons and training programs across multiple sites (Huntington Beach, Seattle, Philadelphia, and St. Louis), and annual revenue of approximately $5 billion.
Previously, she was the senior manager for Financial Planning at the Integrated Defense Systems level, working with the IDS executive leadership team, with oversight of all business unit financials. Immediately prior to this she worked in the same role for the Aircraft & Missiles Business Unit.
From 2000 to 2001, Pope was the Financial Controls Manager for the T-45 Trainer and Training Systems Program, the F-15 Program, and the AV-8B program. From 1994 to 2000 Pope held various financial entry level and management positions on a number of McDonnell Douglas programs, prior to the merger with Boeing.
Pope holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Southwest Missouri State University and a master's degree in business administration from Lindenwood University. She is active in the community, serving as a mentor for Mathews-Dickey Boys & Girls Club. In 2007, Pope was recognized by the St. Louis Business Journal as one of the top 40 under 40 leaders for her career accomplishments and work in the community.
