Boeing Contributes $1.1 Million for Asian American and Pacific Islander Support Organizations across the U.S.

Boeing is donating $1.1 million to organizations working to combat anti-Asian hate and promote justice, advance appreciation for AAPI history and culture, and fund community service projects and leadership development programs in communities across the United States.

The investment package includes $350,000 in grants to support Asian American and Pacific Islander resources in the Pacific Northwest. Washington nonprofits receiving immediate funding include:

• Neighborhood House: A $100,000 investment to support workforce programs for low-income immigrant and refugee community members.
• Tacoma Community House: A $90,000 investment will help with workforce programs for low-income Pierce County residents of color.
• Asian Counseling & Referral Services: A $75,000 investment to help develop workforce programs for marginalized immigrant, refugee and American-born Asian American and Pacific Islander Puget Sound residents.
• One America: A $75,000 investment to support the largest immigrant and refugee advocacy organization in the state focused on national and statewide anti-hate advocacy and immigrant integration.
• Asian Pacific Cultural Center: A $10,000 investment will help sponsor cultural events and an in-kind contribution of an Indonesian Garuda wood carving.
