Dana Deasy is the chief information digital officer and senior vice president of Information Technology & Data Analytics at The Boeing Company. He leads all aspects of information technology, information security and data and analytics. He also supports the growth of Boeing's business through IT- and analytics-related revenue-generating programs.
Prior to joining Boeing in January 2025, Deasy served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the U.S. Department of Defense. In that role he was the primary advisor to the Secretary of Defense for all matters of information management, including space systems, critical satellite communications, nuclear command and control, spectrum, cyber, artificial intelligence and development of advanced technology for the warfighter.
Deasy earlier served as the global CIO and managing director for JPMorgan, where he provided leadership for its global technology organization. Previously he was the global CIO and group vice president for BP and managed a significant transformation of the IT organization. Additionally, he held CIO roles at General Motors, Tyco International and Siemens Corporation.
Deasy holds a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration degrees from the University of Southern California and a Masters of Business Administration from National University. He is an adjunct professor at Carnegie Mellon University.
