President and Chief Executive Officer, Boeing Commercial Airplanes

Stephanie Pope is executive vice president of The Boeing Company and president and chief executive officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA). In this role since March 2024, Pope oversees the design, production and delivery of advanced jetliners to customers around the world, contributing to an in-service fleet of more than 13,000 Boeing airplanes.

Prior to focusing exclusively on the commercial airplanes business, Pope also served as the company’s chief operating officer during a period of transition, overseeing supply chain, quality, manufacturing and engineering excellence across the enterprise.

Earlier this decade, Pope served as president and CEO of Boeing Global Services, driving the division’s post-pandemic recovery and growth while delivering solutions to help customers operate aircraft safely, sustainably and efficiently.

Pope’s career at Boeing spans three decades and numerous senior leadership roles at the corporate, business unit and program levels. Other past positions include vice president and chief financial officer of the Commercial Airplanes and Global Services businesses, vice president of Financial Planning & Analysis for The Boeing Company, and vice president of Finance and controller for Boeing Defense, Space & Security. 

She is a passionate advocate for developing and nurturing talent within the organization, fostering an environment where every individual can thrive.

Pope, a member of Boeing’s Executive Council, serves as the executive sponsor of Boeing Women Inspiring Leadership, a business resource group focused on increasing gender diversity awareness and promoting representation among women.

Pope was an Eisenhower Fellow in Brussels and Ireland and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southwest Missouri State University, along with a Master of Business Administration from Lindenwood University.
