Overview
Mission
Even the best teams in the world can benefit from a partner that doesn’t need rest to be at its best.
Having eyes in the sky at 15,000+ feet for 24+ hours adds a level of endurance to mission planning, no matter if it’s a battlefield, an ocean or a commercial infrastructure.
Operating in places without support systems or infrastructure makes expeditionary capabilities vital – like the ability to launch without a runway.
Delivering persistent imagery on land or at sea – and the tools that turn that imagery into actionable information – make all the difference when every second counts.
ScanEagle is that persistent, immediate and intelligent partner for defense and commercial missions.
Solution
ScanEagle Capabilities
- Delivers persistent imagery on land or at sea for a variety of commercial and defense missions at a fraction of the cost of other surveillance methods
- Latest ScanEagle features upgraded avionics, expanded payload options and a new heavy fuel purpose-built propulsion system that dramatically improves reliability and performance.
- Can operate up to 19,500 feet (5,943 meters) and loiter over a battlefield for extended missions of 24+ hours, depending on system configuration
- Launches autonomously by a catapult launcher – no runway required – and is retrieved via a patented SkyHook recovery system
- Flies in extreme environments and supports a range of imager configurations that can be quickly modified in the field
