Contact your manager if you plan to cross the picket line. Your manager will inform you once your badge has been activated to return to work.

If you decide to cross the picket line, there’s no requirement to resign from the union, but you may be fined by the union. If you choose to resign from the union, it will not impact your Boeing wages, benefits or seniority—during or after a strike.  Your Boeing job status will not be impacted as a result of resigning from the union and/or crossing the picket line during a strike.

In this new contract, there is only one set of progression steps in a career. Going forward, when you take a promotion to a higher graded job, you will no longer have your progression counter reset.

Additionally, if you are already at max rate and you take a promotion to a higher graded job, you will go straight to the new max rate.

There are still 12 progression steps needed to reach the max rate for any labor grade. This occurs by receiving a $0.50 increase every six months.

Yes. Benefits will now be awarded as they are accrued. You will be able to use benefits as you accrue them and no longer have to wait until your anniversary date.

For employees retiring during this new agreement, they will have access to a Boeing-sponsored post-65 Medicare retiree program, beginning effective January 1, 2026. There are no changes to the existing Boeing-sponsored pre-65 retiree medical program.

No. Starting January 2025, there will be a decrease in employee contributions per pay period.

For over 100 years, our team has built incredible airplanes here in Washington and Oregon. This contract extends that legacy with a historic commitment to our employees and and our community. We’ve also made a commitment to maintain current employment levels for our employees with facilities and maintenance skills.

Approximately 4,200 employees to be upgraded based on the work they currently perform.  This will provide our employees additional growth and pay in the system, leading to higher maximum rates.

If both an employee and their spouse or domestic partner are employed by Boeing, and both represented by IAM 751 or W24, one employee may elect to cover the other under the medical and dental plans. An active employee may also cover a spouse or domestic partner who has retired from the company and who waives retiree medical coverage. These changes will be effective starting Jan. 1, 2026.

The $6,000 ratification bonus will be paid within 30 days if the contract is ratified by 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 27.

Paid parental leave would begin Jan. 1, 2025. At that time, you can also use this benefit if you welcomed a new child between Sept. 13 and Dec. 31, 2024.

Effective January 1, 2025, and each January 1 thereafter, employees would receive one annual floating holiday to be used in a full day increment. Employees can use it on a holiday or any other day they choose with advance scheduling. It must be used before the end of each year.

There are approximately 33,000+ employees represented by the International Association of Machinists 751 in Washington and W24 in Portland, Oregon.
