Employees open their hearts, wallets for Hawaii

Boeing employees, including the company match, have donated more than $405,689 to help Hawaii recover from wildfires.

Boeing announced a $500,000 donation from the Boeing Charitable Trust that will assist those impacted by the recent wildfire that devastated Maui. Funding will go to the following organizations: 

Disaster relief efforts align with Boeing’s ongoing commitment to the communities where Boeing employees live and work. Boeing employs 151 people in Hawaii. Previous to this donation, Boeing has contributed more than $760,000 to charitable causes there over the past five years.

As part of the Boeing Gift Match program, Boeing will match employees’ monetary donations to eligible charities dollar for dollar. As of August 28, Boeing employees, including the company match, have donated more than $405,689 to help the people of Hawaii recover from the wildfires.
